The Power of Video

Over the years, I’ve written a lot about the Power of Video. We’ve also made a few Vlogs on the overwhelming statistics about how video can boost your business. There’s a lot. I can remember when we were starting The Idea Studio. Video wasn’t our only focus back then, but it was on the forefront of our thinking. We would always try and direct our current and potential clients into doing a video just to help them with their SEO on Google. Most would say something like “What kind of video are we talking? I don’t want to look like a used car salesman.” (Haha) It’s true. Back then not everyone could see past the local TV commercials and actually see that we could make something different, inspiring, or just relatable for their business. Most importantly, help them build content to get a better ranking on different search engines.
Nowadays, video is everywhere. So many marketing agencies have caught on and have built video into their services as well as production companies have tried to become more like marketing agencies. I like to think of our video agency as one of the first to do this. :) But no matter what, people have seen how powerfully effective video can be for their marketing and advertising online. It is an asset that has proven ROI again and again.
So let me say, it’s never too late to start building your video content. There’s so many ways and options (from low to high budgets) to put out effective video content to better market your brand and business. They may not all look the same or have the same production quality, but if the content is well done and your message is clear, then someone will find it to be valuable.
